For Valentine’s Day I made these Red Velvet pancakes from Design Love Fest and they were a hit! I added chocolate chips to half the batch because well, chocolate.
You can see approval all over her face. This kid has more personality than her dad and I combined. It never stops either. As I write this she is moving the step stool in the kitchen to play with knives. Ok, she is trying to get the Annie’s fruit snacks next to the knives. But still.
This headband from Babes Bowtique is so fun. I tried to make her wear it Ninja style around her forehead. She wasn’t having it.
Eventually we wandered over to the park. It’s still unseasonably warm and I can’t remember a February with so little snow. I am not complaining, but this summer’s water is going to be scarce. I love letting her walk the neighborhood. It wears her down. Her heart joggers from River Babe Threads are perfection! She may or may not have worn them again today to Costco.
These last two photos I took while we went for a drive in search of some dirt road. It was a success and this creek was rushing by along the road. When I turned around and headed back toward civilization I started to get really weird and sentimental about this state. I love big skies, big mountains, big rivers and canyons that open to wide open ranges.
