Mother’s Day Project

I had a last minute idea to send my mom and mother-in-law more than just the cards and necklaces I had picked up from a local store in Snowmass Village. I fondly remember all of the projects we made in school for my mom and I figured it’s best to start her now, understanding the importance of mothers and women is important to me. So I scoured Pinterest and got some ideas. I had some new canvas laying around and plenty of paint so it was an easy decision to make these.

Half way through the project, she needed to eat so I left her in her high chair and fixed her lunch, when I turned around I found this. She was able to reach across her tray and grab the foam brush that was loaded with paint. It was everywhere. As I cleaned her off in the sink she twisted and landed fully clothed in the water so it was a complete wardrobe change before we ever got to her food. I laughed a lot and promptly took a nap when Matt got home from work. She’s exhausting. In a great way, but keeping up is work.
